Rain has wreaked havoc on the start to Super Bowl week, and the annual media day circus has become a casualty.

The NFL moved the media day, scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET, from its usual spot on the field at Sun Life Stadium to the park's climate-controlled club level.

"This should not be a major problem," NFL spokesman Michael Signora told the AP. "It just will look different."

The Saints' first practice of Super Bowl week was also disrupted. Originally scheduled to work out at the University of Miami, the Saints dressed at their hotel and then took a bus to the Dolphins' team complex to use their practice bubble.

Saints QB Drew Brees said the team was not annoyed with the change in plans. "Weather the storm; we know how to do that," he said.

The rain, which also fell during Sunday night's Pro Bowl, brought back memories of the last Super Bowl played in Miami three years ago. The Colts defeated the Bears 29-17 in a steady rain that night, the first Super Bowl in such less-than-ideal conditions.

The long-range forecast for Sunday's Super Bowl looks promising, however. Partly cloudy conditions with a high of 72 degrees could be in the offing.
