Brett Favre's brother, Scott, said last week that the Vikings QB "was beat all to hell" in the team's loss to the Saints in the NFC championship game.
 And now there are photos to illustrate that. The Clarion-Ledger from Mississippi (a sister publication to USA TODAY) obtained photos from Favre's agent, Bus Cook, that detail a bruised and heavily swollen ankle (pictured) and a hamstring that turned purple (also pictured).
Cook told the Clarion-Ledger's Rick Cleveland that Favre was "beat up."
 Favre has yet to decide on whether he will return for a 20th season in the NFL. Surely, he'll need time to allow these wounds to heal before committing to another campaign. -- Sean Leahy |
